The session addresses the legal implications of the new Democratic Memory Law in the face of restitution claims arising from the Spanish Civil War and Post-Civil War, taking into account the international framework of the Restitution of Nazi looted cultural assets, and with special reference to works of art seized and deposited for political responsibilities or acquired by Public Administrations, State agencies or Autonomous Communities.
